Brightfield Works is a UK-based studio working across digital platforms, infrastructure, security, and operational systems. Brightfield Works is the controller for personal details submitted through this website. For privacy or website enquiries, write to hello at brightfieldworks dot com.
What we collect
If you use the contact form, we collect the details you choose to submit: name, email address, optional phone number, optional organisation, country, project type, preferred reply method, and message content.
We also receive normal technical information needed to deliver the website, protect the form from misuse, and understand whether the service is working correctly.
How details are used
Contact details are used to read, route, and reply to your enquiry. We do not add contact-form submissions to a marketing list, and we do not sell personal details.
The usual basis for handling contact-form details is legitimate interests: receiving business enquiries, deciding how to respond, protecting the form from misuse, and keeping proportionate records of the exchange. If a later engagement needs different handling, that will be agreed in context.
Contact form and email
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam and Resend to deliver the enquiry email and the acknowledgement email. The message is sent to the Brightfield Works inbox, and the acknowledgement is sent to the email address you provide.
If your message includes sensitive information, say so in the first message and we will move the conversation to a more appropriate channel before asking for detail.
Services used by the site
The website is built with Astro and hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile and
Resend. Optional analytics uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-3M4EFRVG0R.
These providers process technical or message-delivery data only to provide the site, protect the form, deliver email, or measure site usage when analytics consent has been given.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept only for as long as needed to respond, manage the working relationship, keep basic business records, and meet legal or accounting requirements.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and accounting record-keeping requirements. Email hello at brightfieldworks dot com with enough detail for us to find the relevant message or record.
Privacy questions and complaints
If you have a question or complaint about how your personal details have been handled, email hello at brightfieldworks dot com. We will acknowledge the message, review the relevant record or processing activity, and follow up with the practical next step or outcome.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
