Practice
- Digital platforms Websites, ecommerce, content systems, integrations, payments, deployment, and launch. We design and build marketing sites, landing pages, content-led platforms, and ecommerce experiences, then connect the systems behind them so they work properly in practice. That includes CMS setup, technical integrations, payment flows, deployment pipelines, and launch support, with attention to performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Infrastructure & Security Cloud, migration, hardening, automation, identity, and operational reliability.
- Platform care Ongoing support for hosting, domains, email, updates, monitoring, and small changes.
- Operational systems Quality, safety, training, rollout, internal communications, and practical process design.
Work
- Notary500 An Astro 5 site with TypeScript for a notary practice with bilingual content and ongoing platform care.
- Secret Sparkle A Next.js 15 / React 19 ecommerce storefront that uses an App Router, server-rendered pages, Sanity as the product/CMS backend, Stripe Checkout for payments, Resend for transactional/order emails, Zustand for client state, and Vercel Speed Insights. It has custom API routes for checkout, Stripe webhooks, cart stock checks, postage quoting, and back-in-stock requests etc.
- Microsoft PKI migration Enterprise PKI review, hardening, metadata cleanup, and migration from on-premises to Azure VMs.
- Azure Virtual Desktop AVD implementation with Terraform, security, and cost controls.
- Zero Harm programme A health and safety initiative focused on reducing or eliminating harm through stronger risk management, safer behaviours, and continual improvement.
- Brightfield Works An Astro 5 website built with TypeScript, Astro pages/components, MDX content collections for insights/articles, and global CSS rather than a large frontend app framework.
Service
- Ecommerce Online shops built for the owner to run. Product structure, payments, and the fulfilment plumbing behind them.
- Security Hardening, policy baselines, and access governance that reduce the attack surface and keep it reduced.
- Automation Repeatable operational work made consistent, reviewable, and easier to hand over.
- Training & rollout Induction packs, competency frameworks, rollout planning, and internal communications.
- Modern websites Marketing sites and content platforms on static-first frameworks. Fast, legible, and maintainable after handover.
- Hosting Hosting and DNS coordination on your accounts, not ours. Set up to be handed back cleanly.
- Infrastructure Reliable environments across cloud and on-premises. Designed from a written brief, migrated in phases, documented for the team that runs it.
- Content management Editorial workflows a non-technical owner can run alone. The right CMS for the job, not the largest one.
Technology
- Astro Static-first site framework used for compact, durable web builds.
- Next.js React framework used where ecommerce or app-like behaviour benefits from it.
- Cloudflare DNS, hosting coordination, redirects, edge services, Turnstile, and operations.
- Stripe Payment infrastructure for ecommerce and transactional flows.
- Azure Microsoft cloud platform for infrastructure, virtual desktop, identity, and migration work.
- Terraform Infrastructure-as-code for repeatable cloud and platform changes.

- React Component library, used where an interface needs to update without a full page reload.
- Vercel Hosting and preview deployments, used for Next.js builds.
- JavaScript The language behind interactive behaviour in the browser.
- TypeScript JavaScript with types. Fewer surprises at scale, easier to read later.
